My Story. My Mission.
Motherhood has been the most incredible and challenging journey I have ever experienced. When my husband and I found out we were pregnant we were overjoyed to be blessed with bringing a life into this world. As we started to think of what life would be like once this little being came into the world, it quickly became clear that with this would come some pretty big changes along with tons of preparation! For me as a stylist, that meant within my business as well!
I quickly became overwhelmed with all the unknown’s of how motherhood would change how I ran my business. I was scared that my clients would be un-nerved and riddled with questions that I wasn’t prepared to answer. I knew that my life was changing and that meant that my business would have to change and adapt with it.
My business needed a facelift in more ways than one. At this point in time I was already overworked and was in desperate need of a price increase and schedule change. I thought to myself, this is the perfect opportunity for a fresh start.
One thing I was sure of was that I didn’t want to waste precious time with my baby working on re-setting my business and managing all of my clients needs and questions during my maternity leave.
I decided to put the work in to organize and streamline as many things as I could before baby even arrived. In doing so, I birthed ANOTHER baby that you now know as the course “Maternity Like A Mother”. This course is an accumulation of my personal maternity experience and the process that I went through. It’s bursting with creative ideas and resources I’ve collected from the stylist community to aid you in planning your maternity at your own pace and in your own way. My hope is that it will help empower other stylists as they walk through their maternity journey.
